The true church of Christ has existed among different people at different times and places in the history of the world.  There is the modern church that Joseph Smith restored, the church Christ established in/around Jerusalem 2000 years ago, and the church among Adam, Abraham, Noah, Moses, and all the Old Testament prophets -- all had the same doctrines, positions (priest, teacher, prophet, apostle, etc.) and the same priesthood.  You can think of it as the true church of Christ being a category or type that different historical entities have been a part of in history. The great & abominable church or church of the devil is the same way:  it is a type or category that different historical entities have been in throughout history with different people at different places and times.  Nephi described this type or category in 1 Nephi 13-14.  We are looking for ANY group or association of people in history that fit Nephi's description -- not just religious organi...

Please be careful whenever you watch any movie or TV show.  What seems innocent on the surface is full of evil ideas and doctrines that are clearly coming from the devil if you look closely. Last night we watched Hit Man on Netflix.  On the surface the movie was average -- which I don't understand because it is winning awards.  It's about a boring Psychology professor who ends up acting like a hit man for the police to catch people who want to murder someone.  Then he falls in love with a beautiful woman who kills her ex-husband, so he helps cover it up.  Then to avoid going to jail, they both kill someone together.   It's the summary that was disturbing.  In the end he says and I'm paraphrasing -- Life is about possibilities.  I have come to believe that the truth is created through the integration of different points of view and there are no absolutes, whether moral or epistemological.  I find this to be a much more empowering way to g...

I'm writing in this online journal because I figure it will be saved and seen in the future, compared to a physical journal that could easily be lost or damaged and will only be seen by a few of my descendants.  People during the peaceful and happy time after the Lord comes again will want to know what it was like to live during these times, just like we value the journals and knowledge saved during the early days of the church, especially about what Joseph Smith did and said. I'm learning to plant vegetables for emergency preparedness.  I live in an apartment complex.  There is no land for me to plant and grow food, so I bought 3 pots and soil from Walmart.   Here in Florida, almost everything grows with the warm weather and plenty of sunlight.  So I planted seeds of different vegetables in the pots, watered it, and waited a few weeks -- nothing happened.  Then I planted seeds again in each of the 3 pots, watered, and waited again -- nothing happened.  So I repeated these steps a third time and again, no results.  So I just left it and forgot about it. Months later I have two or more plants growing in each of the three pots -- and I can't remember what I planted in which pot.  Now I'm just going to keep watering and let nature take its course. I have learned so much about how the world works over the past 2 years.  Now that Pres. Trump has given the order to attack Iran, even though over 80% of Americans are against it, and it does not serve US interests, it is clear that US politicians are controlled by Israeli leaders using blackmail via Jeffrey Epstein and his network.   I believe that Israel took part in and maybe ordered the assassination of President John F.
