Most people in the political landscape are fairly easy to read based on their actions.  The Lord said, All are corrupt, save it be a few -- so from the start we know that most are playing for the wrong team.   But President Trump seems to have a foot on each side.   First, Donald Trump's second term has been a pleasant surprise for me.  This is the first time in a long time that it feels like the President of the United States is acting appropriately.  I think the last time I felt this way was when President Reagan was in office when I was in high school (which is strange because I have since read about much of the corruption he was a part of -- related to the Savings & Loan scandal of the 1980's, and his political support from the very corrupt President of MCA, Lew Wasserman).  Since President Trump began his second term, he has done many good and correct acts to benefit the nation.   For example: President Trump has begun tariffs t...

How It Feels to Live in the Last Days

Today is January 4, 2026.  We woke up yesterday morning to the happy news that the dictator of Venezuela, Nicholas Maduro, was taken by US troops and taken back to the United States.  My wife and step-son, Ivonne and Leo Yumar, were excited that he is gone after he and his associates drove the country into the ground.  Right now I'm seeing all sorts of stuff online about people who oppose this move by President Trump because they will say anything to persuade the country against him.  The Deep State clearly doesn't like him because they tried to assassinate him before he took office the second time.  Some people are tricked into joining the lies of the Democrats, others are paid to do what they do -- like full-time paid protestors who don't believe anything they are protesting, it's their job for which I'm sure they are well-paid.
