I am Gregg E. Killpack and this is my online journal.  Today is August 3, 2025.  I am writing this online journal hoping it will survive and be read by future generations.  If I were to write this journal on paper or in digital format saved on my computer, it probably would get lost and never seen again.  Just as it is historically important for us now to know what happened with Joseph Smith and events during the early days of the church, it is important for people to know what we knew and experienced in the years leading up to the Second Coming of the Lord.

First, I'd like to introduce myself.  I am Gregg Killpack, son of Hal Killpack and Ruth DeVault.  I'm 58 years old and live in Largo, Florida, not far from Clearwater beach.  We moved here from Utah in 2017 -- some 8 years ago.  I'm originally from Yuba City, California, where I lived until I was 14 years old when my family moved to Utah where I have lived most of my life.  I am a life-long member and 5th generation member (on my mother and father's side) in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  My great-great grandmother is Sarah Good Marshall, who crossed the plains as a single mother with 6 children and beat her wagon company into Salt Lake valley.  

My eyes began to be opened about the time the Covid pandemic started in 2020.  I didn't have to commute to work (or take Ivonne to her job) which saved me 10 hours per week.  With the extra time I did what I've been doing for more than 30 years -- studying the stock market.  Specifically I had read articles saying that the regulations & laws that led to the 2008 mortgage crisis and I wanted to know what was going on there.  It didn't take long to find enormous amounts of greed and corruption.  Then I went deep down the rabbit hole and have learned much about how evil some people are, and how committed they are to obtaining more money and power at any cost.

In the process of trying to understand all this and discover truth, I believe the Holy Spirit has been whispering in my ear as I have studied to help me make sense of it all.  I'm pretty sure I understand and have correctly identified the great & abominable church mentioned by Nephi in 1 Nephi chapters 13-14.

This journal is evidence that some of us in the church have researched these things and knew in advance what was happening.

President Russell M. Nelson Died (LDS/Mormon/The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints)

I learned this morning looking on social media before going to church that President Russell M. Nelson died last night at the age of 101 years old.  What a wonderful man and an inspiring leader he has been for the members of the church!  He has encouraged us to more fully keep the commandments of God, go to the temple, and draw closer to God in prayer to receive revelation.  He will be greatly missed.  General Conference is next weekend, so I'm guessing President Dallin H. Oaks will be set apart as President before then.   It's interesting to note that the president of the church during the Covid pandemic was a doctor and surgeon.  I wonder what it means that the new president of the church is an attorney and former member of the Utah Supreme Court.  I sent Pres. Oaks a copy of my book, Secret Combinations in the U.S. Government (and the Identity of the Great & Abominable Church) , but I seriously doubt it got past his gatekeepers/secretaries....
